Protect Me!: Protect files and folders with a password has never been easier

Protect Me! - Protect Folders

I remember those days when I was talking about how to password protect folders in Windows, so I recorded a video. Today I met Protect Me! In a blog that I follow from my beginnings in How-To New (Punto Geek, a spanish great blog recommended). This is a free program (only 274 KB) laptop that does not require installation, whose language is English.

Protect Me! has a peculiar way of working. Although prior to password protect a folder, the folder is behaving as such, like a Windows directory, and what they did basically was to hide profits folders. But can you imagine that rather than hide folders convert our information into an executable EXE protected?

This is precisely the goal of Protect Me!. The procedure is simple: drag files or folders to the program’s interface, and give the password assigned click Create Container, which will get an executable file in EXE format where files will be protected. In such a way that when you need to access these files need to enter the password you have assigned above. It’s a really easy procedure and I guarantee it is safe.

Added to the above, Protect Me! incorporated with different encryption algorithms or encryption (SHA1 and AES) which assures the user that their information will not only secured with a password, but it is also encrypted, and that is why having access to such information will be rather difficult for all cracker so the program will be well used.
