Me on the Web: Who you are on the web, now in Google Dashboard


Have you ever wondered who are you around the web? Well, Google is now trying this new feature that allows you to know how are you being seen or where your data come from. Not the same as where have you logged in, but instead an easy way to manage your identity online.

meonthewebYou’ll clearly see in how many sites your data is shown or at least in which sites are you more likely to show your data, and offers some tips and advices on how to un-link your data from these places.

Besides this, it provides an alert system so you get notified every time you are mentioned or something related to your personal data is released on the web (name, phone, address, mail; if it is in your Google profile, you’ll get notified).

This capability is now released and out for everyone to try it out and see how much are they sharing and check if your identity is safe or not.

Just go to your Dashboard to check it out.
