How to export your services’ settings from your PC to another one

Something that’s annoying to me is that every time I format my PC I have to redo all my services since there are many that I don’t need and some are just useless, so, if you’re a technician this can save you a lot of time since you don’t need to configure all services manually, just a single click will do it for you.

First, we will need to download Turbo Service Manager, which is a pretty awesome and portable service manager that we’re going to use to export and import the settings we want. Since is portable, just run it and after you configure your services, click “Save” on the top left.

save

After that you’ll have a XML file with all your services and their state listed, now, how to import it? Just click on the “Load” icon right next to the “Save” button. You’ll receive a message with all changes you made.

load

Sadly, there is no in-Windows option to do this, you need to use a third party program to make this. But still, totally worth it.
