How-to: Change Windows 7 display language


One of the advantage of the latest Microsoft Windows operative systems is that we can easily change the display message of our system, without purchasing another copy of the OS. In this how-to I’ll show you how to do it.

First, me must download the language package, available in Windows Update. We go to the windows update icon in the system tray and double click.

Then, we have to go to the Optional Updates section.

Once there, we choose the languages we want to have available to change the Windows interface. Then press OK.

Then we return to the main windows update window where we have to click on “Install updates” and wait for them to download and install. Now that we have downloaded the language pack we can change the display language by going to the Control Panel.

Where we have to go to the Clock, Language and Region section, and click “Change display language”.

Once there, in the “Choose a display language” section you can choose the desired language and click OK.

The computer will ask us to log off, we must accept and then login again.

And that’s all, now we have our system in another language.
