We’ve been waiting the new features of Firefox quite a while now, finally is up for grabs. At first sight is really just like Chrome.
Then I saw the Add-on manager and it just blow my mind.
I still don’t like that I have to restart the browser for add-ons installs or updates, but I think they’re not ready for that yet.
Other thing I don’t like, where the multi-process platform went?
This is just the first release, let’s see how the second will come, still waiting for the final. If I manage to figure out how to force the add-on compatibility I’ll update the post explaining how.
Update: here I posted how to make old add-ons compatible.

I expected a faster Firefox 4, but unfortunately have neglected this point (which is its main weakness) on one side and were more concerned with changing aspects of their design. Well, I’m not complaining either, because they have done a nice job in this new version. Greetings!
