DiskAlarm is a freeware portable software that monitors the Hard Drive temperature. Unlike other programs that monitor only the CPU temp, this only centers in the HD. It can be shown in Cº or Fº, and the alarm is customizable, just put an audio file called Alarm in the same folder with the program and that’s it.
The software requires that you have .Net Framework 2.0 or superior installed. And it works on Windows XP, Vista and 7. I like this kind of software that are centered instead of doing a lot of stuff because you can be sure that it will work for that thing in specific, or at least in theory should work.
