Defraggler is to me the best defragmenter there is. Using the one in Windows is annoying, and the worst part is that it’s very slow, and the interface doesn’t make it more useful at all, and that’s why there is so many alternatives online. In this case, Defraggler.
This is a defragmentation software to keep our hard drive in optimal conditions. Unlike another ones, this one has a pretty attractive and easy to follow interface that shows the progress of the defragmentation, and a clickable window to know which cluster has what. Another thing is the speed, is very fast defragmenting and analyzing the disc.
It has an explorer shell extension to defrag files with a single click, schedule defragmentation, a shut-down after defrag option, shows log of last defrag, boot-time defrag (to defragment system files that can’t be defragmented with Windows started), full compatibility with any kind of disc, and more.
The software is free, and is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7 in 32 and 64 bits systems. Also, remember that comes from the ones that created CCleaner, so if you don’t use it yet, at least try it.
