This time we have another text editor but it also have a lot of features that make it different from the other ones. It is called AkelPad and it will help us to edit plain text files but it was specially made for source code edition.
AkelPad is light but very powerful application that we can use for edition of source codes in plaintext, it has 3 different modes in witch we may want to work for our commodity: the single window mode (SDI), multi-window mode (MDI) and pseudo multi-windows mode (PMDI).
AkelPad has a lot of features that we may like. Some of them are full support of Unicode strings, support of Unicode codepages or any codepage that you have installed on the computer, support for Windows, Unix and Mac newline formats and many more.
Other features that we may found interesting are support for previewing the files that you are about to open, column text selection, multi-level undo, printing, language modules, etc. This application is compatible with all Windows systems.
